Hasbro pretty much gave us everything we would need from the prequel finale and even managed to fit a ton of product into an nine month window. The packaging was very colorful and eye catching. The shape of the actual cards were die-cut with a large round bubble taking up most of the card. A large Darth Vader head loomed just above the lava to give it that ominous tone. The packaging on the Revenge of the Sith line was actually quite nice, with the figures placed in a bubble with a Mustafar lave background. Hasbro also released a small line of 12 inch figures. I particularly enjoyed the Evolution sets, which followed the progression of certain characters through action figures. Also released were series featuring Deluxe figures and multipacks. Much like the Geonosis Battle Arena from the Saga Collection, the Mustafar Final Duel playset was massive with a lot of great features and playability. Hasbro released some really nice exclusive figures, as well as a brand new large scale playset. There were many smaller sub-sets and packs released with the Revenge of the Sith line, which kept things fun and interesting. The assortment of characters in this line is a bit heavy on the main stars (Anakin, Obi-Wan, Padme, Palpatine) but it still works well, with other lesser characters mixed in. This allowed Hasbro to focus all their energy on (what we thought at the time) the last Star Wars movie ever made. Much like the Episode I line, Hasbro went exclusively with figures from the current movie instead of trying to incorporate characters from other Star Wars films. They first appear in the opening battle sequence of Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith (2005) and have featured in the 2008 Clone Wars television. Hasbro released their new Revenge of the Sith figures in 2005 to coincide with the release of the final movie in the prequel trilogy.
